Background
 
Gaur Govinda Trust (UK Reg.Charity No 1152811) was established in London, UK under the spiritual guidance and blessings of His Divine Grace Shrila Bhakti Swarup Tirtha Maharaj. 
 
Gaur Govinda Trust is spreading the message of God, as given in the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavata Mahapurana, throughout the world. It is engaged in serving Shri Radha, Shri Krishna and Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as per Gaudiya Vaishnava principles and practices. 
 
The chairman of Gaur Govinda Trust, Shrila B.S. Tirtha Maharaj, has also been guiding the activities of the Bhagavat Vani Trust (UK Reg 1056909) in the capacity of its Trustee and Head of congregation, serving the community diligently here in the UK since 1996. 
 
The key objectives of the trust are the propagation of Hindu religious beliefs and spreading spiritual awareness amongst the communities and also the promotion of social welfare work and endeavour for communal harmony. 
 
We are also a member of the Hindu Forum of Britain.

Aims of the organisation:
 
•The Communities will be benefiting from the regular counselling and spiritual solace given by Gaur Govinda Trust (GGT). GGT helps to promote peace and love in the families.
 
•Several groups will gain from the programmes and festivals GGT will be conducting in the next few years to educate and impart knowledge from the teachings of the Scriptures.
 
•The Spiritual Guidance given by GGT on one to one basis improves the quality of lives of many individuals.
 
•GGT conducts programmes of prayer in the houses of devotees, members, patrons, well wishers and others to bring peace and happiness in their homes.
 
•Both young and old will benefit from the programmes GGT will be organising at various places in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Manchester etc.
 
 
•GGT will also positively respond to the future invitations by many organisations to give discourses on the Philosophy of Life, Meditation and the Body, Mind and Soul.
 
 
•GGT are a completely dedicated body, fully committed to serve God and Humanity with utmost sincerity and integrity. 
 
 
•GGT will relentlessly work hard to bring about understanding, peace and harmony among all the ethnic groups in the UK. 
 
 
•GGT aims at encouraging interfaith dialogue with a specific view to promote communal harmony. 
 
 
•GGT will also arrange free food distribution on various occasions.
