Background
Gaur Govinda Trust (UK Registered Charity No. 1152811) was established in London, UK under the spiritual guidance and blessings of His Divine Grace Shrila Bhakti Swarup Tirtha Maharaj. Gaur Govinda Trust is spreading the message of God, as given in the Bhagavad Gita and the Shrimad Bhagavatam, throughout the world. It is engaged in serving Shri Radha, Shri Krishna and Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as per Gaudiya Vaishnava principles and practices. The chairman of Gaur Govinda Trust, Shrila B.S. Tirtha Maharaj, in the capacity of its Trustee and Head of congregation, serving the community diligently here in the UK since 1996.
The key objectives of the Trust are the propagation of Gaudiya Vaishnava principles and spreading spiritual awareness amongst the various communities and also the promotion of social welfare work and endeavour for communal harmony.
We are also a member of the Hindu Forum of Britain.

- GGT conducts programmes of prayer in the houses of devotees, members, patrons, well-wishers and others to bring peace and happiness in their homes.

- GGT positively respond to invitations by many organisations to give discourses on the Philosophy of Life, Meditation and the Body, Mind and Soul.
- GGT are a completely dedicated body, fully committed to serve God and humanity with utmost sincerity and integrity.

- GGT aims at encouraging interfaith dialogue with a specific view to promote communal harmony.
- GGT actively coordinates with other sister concerns all over the world to promote free distribution to the needy of food, clothes, blankets and medicines as well as helping to provide public utility services like water tank facility in West Bengal and organizing blood donation centres.
- GGT also engages in other philanthropic activities including the establishment of Spiritual Gurukul (spiritual school for children) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in coordination with GVA USA. GGT also organises in coordination with its sister concerns in India in promoting regular school children visits to the temples established in Navi Mumbai, Kolkata and Mayapur.
- GGT also conducts massive distributions worldwide of audio, visual and digital media of spiritual discourses by Shrila B.S. Tirtha Maharaj.
- GGT periodically releases books on various spiritual topics and an annual publication of Bhagavat Vani magazine.
