For every donation you make, the Charity will get an extra 22% against that from the UK Government. For example, a £1000 donation will ensure that the charity will ultimately get £1220.00

Gaur Govinda Trust was established in the UK under the spiritual guidance and blessings of its Chairman, His Divine Grace Shrila B.S. Tirtha Maharaj, the Chairman of the Trust.

Gaur Govinda Trust is spreading the message of God, as given in the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavata Mahapurana and other Gaudiya Vaishnava scriptures throughout the world. It is engaged in serving Shri Radha, Shri Krishna and Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as per Gaudiya Vaishnava principles and practices.

In the Gita (17/20) The Supreme Lord Shri Krishna extols the act of giving a gift given out of duty at the proper time and place, to a worthy person, and without expectation of return.

The Shrimad Bhagavatam (8/20/9) highlights the highest charitable act as follows:

“O best of the Brahmanas, many men have laid down their lives on the battlefield, being unafraid of fighting, but rarely has one gotten the chance to give his accumulated wealth faithfully to a saintly person who creates holy places”.

What person on earth can be saintlier than he who is constantly engaged in glorifying the transcendental attributes and activities of Shri Krishna. What place on any part of the earth can be holier than that which houses the temple of Shri Shri Radha Krishna and Lord Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

We are right now developing preaching centers all over the world. Therefore here is an opportunity to generously donate at least some part of your (if not all the accumulated) wealth in charity to support the propagational efforts of our Trust.

Your contributions will also be useful for distribution of food, clothes and other daily utility products to the most needy which we distribute in Kolkata, Navi Mumbai, and Mayapur, India on a regular basis, especially midday meals to School Children and the homeless.

Your donation for such causes is not merely a generous act of routine charity but an auspicious gesture of munificence that will gradually enable you to gain the transcendental loving service of the divine couple, Shri Shri Radha and Krishna.

Further, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says, “By rendering transcendental loving service to Shri Krishna, one automatically performs all the other subsidiary devotional and pious activities”.
